The third graders at Central Elementary began studying about cavity dwelling birds in March and made their first observations on Monday, April 3, 2017. They were delighted to find activity around the nest boxes.
Once a week students in Mrs. Hu's RTI class take a quick tour of the schoolyard to find out what is happening with our nesting birds. We know we have a house sparrow nesting and also a titmouse. There are several other completed nests and some of them now have eggs. There is more action this year than last year.
