Enderly Heights ES Buena Vista City Schools

Our birds are already checking out our next boxes but due to school schedule changes we won't be able to share data this spring 2018--hopefully next year!

Last Fall, BEST Nature Club students cleaned out our boxes in anticipation of new families this Spring. They spent a day in the computer lab researching how to clean them. We made a materials list and even made the cleaner!
Here is our recipe:
2 C white distilled vinegar
2 C luke warm water
4 generous T baking soda
Mix carefully in a spray bottle. You may get a little volcano like we did :)

This spring students in the BEST Nature Club mapped places for a bluebird trail on the Enderly Heights schoolyard. Several pairs of birds got interested right away. We now have nests with chickadees, tree swallows, and more.
